About RiftCalc
RiftCalc is a free, fan-made reference for League of Legends on Summoner's Rift. You can browse and compare every item, champion and rune, and put together builds: a champion with a role, summoner spells, items and a rune page. The site then shows the stats they add up to, and what every ability does with them against a target you choose.
Where the data comes from
All game data comes from the League of Legends Wiki: item, champion, rune and summoner spell data, ability descriptions, and the numbers in them. The site refreshes its copy of the wiki data twice a day, so a new patch shows up within hours of the wiki being updated. Thanks to the wiki's editors, who keep it accurate every patch.
Text from the wiki is used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license; each item, champion and ability links back to its wiki page. Icons come from Riot's Data Dragon service and the wiki.
How the numbers are worked out
Where the wiki works something out (values per rank or level, gold value, sell price, stat growth), the site uses the wiki's own data and formulas rather than an approximation, and an automated check compares about 2,800 numbers against the wiki itself. The build calculator follows the wiki's rules for attack speed, armor and magic penetration, movement speed caps and damage after resists.
Item, rune and champion passives are small definitions that read their numbers from the current wiki text. If the wiki's wording changes, a passive switches itself off rather than use old numbers. Anything the calculator can't work out is shown as the wiki's text, never guessed, and the build page lists the passives it leaves out and why.
Your builds
Builds are saved in your browser on this device; there are no accounts. Use Share on a build for a link or code that anyone can open, or Back up all builds on the Builds page to keep a copy or move them to another device.
